Hey guys,
Welcome to Going Mental.
I started GM because I really wanted a place where I can continuously explore my interest in the mind, thinking, and just finding ways to stay sane in this crazy world!
You can expect… well I’m not exactly sure what you can expect because this is my first post.
I DONT HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT YET, OK?!
Maybe my first post should be me finding ways to not take my anger out on others?
Just kidding! Anger is fun.
Anyway, welcome to Going Mental. I’ll figure this out.
– Jennette
Hey, I really identify with your desire to get more in touch with your own mind, and, I guess, others minds as well. It makes sense. Personally, I’ve been involved in mental issues for like a decade and a half now, so I can definitely relate. Do you have any um… diagnoses? Feel free not to say if its’ too personal a question! 🙂
I think it is interesting that you are opening up to these ideas. The mind is in itself a maze of creation and personal destruction. It is important to not to lean heavy on fears or remembrance of things failed. You hold onto the hope of happier tomorrows, and don’t worry about these doubts. It’s hard, but don’t worry about the world and do you. You’ve done pretty good so far.
healthy Janny if there is an opportunity to meet you in person ..
So let tomorrow immediately die hahhaha
Okay McCurdy, after this I’ll incquire no more about my film. The protagonist is female I could use some help in the writing. I’m not a big shot film dude. It takes a good team of real people with some professional experience to tell a story well.
The story is inspired from Sylvia Plath’s “The Bell Jar,” and real life events such as the Jodi Arias events. Working title “Molding Miss Menace.”
So why not see what it’s all about. It’d be a good excuse to visit the campus Abraham Maslow graduated from. You only YOLO once.
Peace,
Shy
I would love for you to help me with a tip, how to eliminate negative thoughts, I always think I can not achieve my goals, or that they will never work, and this makes me very uncomfortable .. could you help me With a advice? ❤
hello my most beautiful, sweet, sexy janny would love to personally meet you.
It’s Karenj here I absolutely love this idea! Also it’s a fact that creative people cannot create when they’re stressed out. It literally zaps the creating right out of you. I have suffered Myself. Not fun especially when you don’t know what’s happening. This is a creative outlet. So it should help not only you but does it read it. And please don’t worry about it being perfect. If you start being perfect I’m out of here! XOXO
🙂 so grateful for this!!
First posts are always the hardest. That being said, LOVE the blog name!
it’s really nice to hear that you have this GM thing. I’m pretty sure it will help a lot of people who is mentally sick (it’s like 1:3 of people have mental problems) I can share my experience and how am i could cope up on the sickness.

First off I want to say congrats and good luck on the new website and blog. Just found out about it through twitter and I have to say I am especially looking forward to this blog. Going Mental was a nice (funny) choice regarding the name imo. I’m interested to see what kind of things you’ll come up with to talk about and how this community will evolve over time. Anyways I am sure you’ll figure this out no problem and I hope this community will grow and we’ll all get some interesting conversations and happy moments out of this.… Read more »
Hi Jennette! My name is Patricia. It has always interested me to know you better, to know what you think. I have always liked the importance you give to honesty. I want to always be honest with you. I’m a transsexual girl and it’s not a joke. I always feel like a woman. Although I receive rejection and very little support, I have my heart and feelings !! I’ve been on hormones for two years, and I’m proud to be what I am. I’ve always admired you, I will always defend you and support you, and right now what interests… Read more »
Patricia! This makes me emotional.
I am glad you personally align with my value of honesty. Why does honesty matter so much to you? I’m curious to know more about you and your story.
I am sorry that you’re experiencing rejection and little support. That must be challenging. I applaud you on continuing forward with your journey. I can’t imagine the complexities of experiencing what you are experiencing. I hope you have outlets that make the process easier for you and hopefully more enjoyable.
Thanks for your support, fellow thinker 🙂
For me the honesty is important because I read your post: “honesty is the best policy” and I agree with your words because you have all the reason !!!! And as I told you: I would like to learn from you. And I’m very embarrassed to say this, but I’d like to look like you (OMG, I can’t believe it… I said it). My story as a transsexual is simple, When I saw a girl in a black dress, I wanted to be like her. I saw myself in the mirror, and I was a stranger to me … Who… Read more »

I always love to know your opinion on a certain subject because you always have a vision, in a way, similar to mine. And even when it is not similar, it is interesting to see a certain subject in different views. I’m excited about Going Mental.
That’s awesome. I’m curious how you think our opinions are similar? When have your opinions really differed from mine?
i love your profile pic
Thank Jennette i love this site honey
Thank you girl! I identify a lot when you say we should be who we are, love ourselves, dress as we want, be happy with ourselves. So I am a homossexual boy and almost always (even today, I’m almost eighteen) I see myself crying because I don’t really accept who I am. It’s weird to actually talk about it to someone (I don’t talk about it even to my friends), usually I just try to understand everything by books or texts, or my own worldview. I’m often happy to read encouraging texts like yours because I try to put my… Read more »
