CD, Parade, and American Idol Concert!
Hey everyone!
Sooo…I guess I should start off by saying that I’m glad you all enjoy the iCarly CD, however I think there may have been some confusion. In my last post, when I talked about making a CD, I was referring to a CD that I am in the process of making (in which I sing the songs). I’ve been working on this for several months, writing a lot of songs, meeting with different people, etc. between my iCarly schedule. I’m just now in the process of laying down some tracks. I’m working with some awesome people who are helping me to get the sound just right. I’m thinking about releasing a single or something on iTunes to get all of your feedback and see what you feel about it! Let me know what you think about me doing that!!
Okay…so my 4th of July was fun! I woke up bright and early to be in the Huntington Beach Parade, which was amazing! Get this: over 250,000 people were there! It was CRAZY! It took nearly 2 hours to get to the end of the parade. I should’ve worn sunscreen. haha. A lot of kids (and some adults lol) chased after the horse-drawn carriage I was in…it was fantastic to see that kind of support and to meet all the great people! A woman even gave me her baby to hold…I believe the baby’s name was Anabelle. She was only a few months old and she was adorable! It was an honor that the woman just wanted me to hold her baby and take a picture with her. Wow!
Guess what I did today? I went to an American Idol concert! WOOHOO! It was phenomenal! I got to go to this meet and greet with the performers…I was uber excited! Michael Johns, Jason Castro, Ramiel Malubai, and David Cook were so kind to me!!! I got a picture with David Cook, so I’ll have to post that on here soon! All the performers were great and extremely talented. It would honestly be so hard to pick a favorite because they each brought something to their performance that was unique and special. I must admit, I was not a big Syesha fan when she was on the show, but she WON ME OVER tonight. She was amazing! It was great to see that Jason Castro hasn’t changed at all. He still seems like the same nice, humble, easy-going guy he was in his very first interview. He really sang from his heart and soul, which is always when the best music comes out! And his dreadlocks. How cool are they?! His coolness level is up there with Jack Sparrow. haha………….but seriously.
Well, it’s getting late and I have a photoshoot in the morning so I should go to bed. Thanks for all your comments! It’s great to come home from work or whatever and sit down to read them! It’s always fun to see what everyone has to say.
Bye!

P.S. I added some photos to the photo page so check them out!
