Hey guys!
Here I am with my Monday blog that I promised you!!
Okay, so I know I’m a little late, but I want to thank you all SO MUCH for making the first ever iCarly TV movie, iGo to Japan, the huge success that it was! Really…thanks for watching. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed filming it. Just to be random, I thought I’d give you 10 little facts you probably don’t know about iGo to Japan…
1) One night, it was raining so hard outside that we had to stop shooting for a few hours to wait until the rain subsided a little bit. In those hours, we all sat around and sang songs that had the word ‘rain’ in them!
2) Harry Shum Jr. (Yuki) is an AMAZING hip hop dancer! He and I would dance in the hair and makeup room every morning before we started working!
3) The mud we got smothered in was made up of the same stuff that slime is made out of except it’s obviously colored brown instead of green. AHHH so cool!
4) It took 3 weeks to film iGo to Japan.
5) Each member of Good Charlotte was very kind and easy to talk to!
6) My favorite set from iGo to Japan was the Japanese hotel lobby… it was humungous and stunning!
7) Since it was rainy and cold when we had to shoot our exterior scenes, everyone drank hot cocoa and ate chicken noodle soup (homemade by our incredible craft service cook, Reina!).
8 ) It was so windy that some of the set equipment blew down!!
9) We were so caked full of mud that we had to shower off before we could even go into our cars to go home.
10) The possum I had to hold pooped on my arm! hahaha.

Okay, now for David Archuleta’s CD. What do you all think of it?! I wanna know! My favorite songs are “Crush”, “You Can”, “My Hands”, “A Little Too Not Over You”, “Your Eyes Don’t Lie”, “Angels”, “Waiting for Yesterday”, and “Somebody Out There”. I think Crush, My Hands, and Waiting for Yesterday have crazy-cool beats and awesome lyrics! I love all the whoa’s and woo’s and hums that he does! haha! A Little Too Not Over You and Your Eyes Don’t Lie are awesome, clever, and fun! Angels, Somebody Out There, and You Can are all stunning, beautiful, and simply perfect. I love that they are so tender, gentle, and real. I just love them! Thoughts? Comments? What are your favorites?? Lemme know!

I love David´s album, my top three will be Works For Me, Walamart version only, Somebody Out There and A Little Not Too Over You… Barriers, Waitting for Yesterday and My Hands are so cool, and I think that Let Me Go is a great song to dance… In general the album is awesome…

Love David’s cd! I’ve got to many favs on it, haha. But I think one of my top songs is ‘Works For Me’(its only a walmart exclusive). Still luffing on ‘Crush’ but I also love ‘Touch My Hand’, ‘Barriers’, ‘Desperate’, ‘Your Eyes Dont Lie’(love love this haha its so fun!), ‘Running’, ‘To Be With You’ and ‘Falling’.
Ah who am i kidding? I ptretty much love the whole cd, hahaha. Theres a really nice variety on it, definately something for everyone on there.

I’m a huge David Archuleta fan! I’m glad you love his album! I love every single song. It’s hard for me to say which is my favorite, because that changes day to day, but for today, my favorites are Works For Me and Barriers!!! There is a lot of variety on this album, and I’m so proud of David!

Hello again Jennette, almost forgot about the Monday blog. iGo to Japan was really good. It was funny and entertaining. As far as the David Archuleta cd, sorry I have not heard it but I saw him on Regis the other day and he was very good. Anyway keep up the good work and I’ll be looking forward to next week.

You are an absolute doll. I really liked your iGo to Japan. Hahaha- I love that sat around and sang songs with the word ‘rain’ in them. That’s hilarious. iCarly is one of my guilty pleasures.
And about David Archuleta’s CD, it’s brilliant. I love them ALL. But my top favorites are ‘You Can,’ ‘Someobody Out There,’ and ‘My Hands.’ I think. But ‘Works For Me’ is one of favorites, too. It’s only available at Wal-Mart as a bonus track. I highly recommend you go check it out! You’ll love it.
Can I just say how I love that you love David Archuleta? Because I do. A lot. You win at life.

My favorite upbeat one would have to be “Your Eyes Don’t Lie” and “Waiting For Yesterday” and “Touch My Hand”. “You Can” and “Somebody out there” and “Works For Me!” are favorites as well! btw I LOVE you on iCarly!!!! You guys are great!!!

Sweet Jennette, you should so check out “Works For Me” on the bonus track of the Walmart version. David co-wrote that song and says it is autobiographical. I love the cool vibe and beat in that song. Works for Me is definitely one of the favorites in the album, the other ones I love this week are To Be With Me, You Can, My Hands, Barriers, A Little Too Not Over You, Somebody Out there. Heck! I love every song in the album.
By the way, love what you do with icarly. David seems to have a lot of fun filming his episode with you. Can’t wait to see him on the show with you.

Also really love Works For Me! from the walmart bonus cd and Falling. In fact the more i listen to all of the bonus songs, the more upset i am that they didn’t end up on the main cd.
Hi, Jennette! I wanted to tell you that I had never watched iCarly before I heard that David Archuleta was going to be on it, but I started tuning in recently and I LOVE it. You’re an awesome actress, too! I love your character! And I loved iGo to Japan!
In terms of David’s CD…I have the same favorites. One I would add is Works For Me, which is a bonus track off the Walmart CD. It’s amazing, and he co-wrote it, too. Thanks SO much for all your support of David- it’s awesome. Best of luck with iCarly!

It’s great to know yoy love david’s album.I actualy love every song on that album which is really rare for me. In my books this album is rated 1000%.
Lately i’v been playing:
1. Desperate; i love rock songs so this songs gives me a good kick.David’s lower register is what i love so much about his voice.The electric guitars in this song drives me knots!!!!
2. Falling: This song is just so soothing.Again his lower register virtually kills me.especialy when he sang ‘ there could be a new day’
3. waiting for yesterday; the twists, the beats… i just love this song.
4. Let Go; need i say again.his .lower register is just mmmm.i’ve actualy invented dance moves for this song.
5.My hands; i love this song simply cos the emotions he put in this song is raw and intense.
6.Barriers: the reggae twist just made this song unique for me.
7. You can & To be with you; these 2 are the sweetest love songs i’ve heard in a long long time.
8.Touch My Hands; this song just won’t go away.i keep waking up and singing it.
the rest are just so so cool.every single one of them…. just unbelieveable.
haha, funny. Sometimes we’ll find baby possums in our yard and hold them (our dogs kill their mothers, shame…).

I love David Archuleta’s album too!! However, you do not have the version that includes “Works for Me” and that is my favorite song….and co-written by David, which makes me like it even more!! You should check that one out!
Jeannette, You obviously preordered on itunes. Yay! Met too! I love Angels, but I was a concert goer this summer and heard all of David’s concert Angels and so it is part of David, but these new songs are hitting me hard now since I had Angels all summer. But I do and will always love Angels. I think it is one that David should perform on stage all the time. But as far as the other album favorites. Waiting For Yesterday, Your Eyes Don’t Lie, Works For Me are very original and I too, love the beat and the lyrics. I also love A Little Too Not Over You because it is so relateable and David helped write it and it seems so HIM. My Hands is great also. Then the two ballad types, Somebody Out There and To Be With You are my favs. Desperate is another and Barriers. They are a bit edgy but I like David’s voice in these and it shows that he can do these types also. I think David shows so so so much versatility in all his songs.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE David’s album - I really LOVE all the songs but my favorites right now are Works For Me! and Somebody Out There - worth mentioning, though, A Little Too Not Over You, Desperate, Your Eyes Don’t Lie - PHENOMENAL ALBUM!!! I’m so proud of David! He really can sing anything as shown by the diversity of styles on this debut album! ROCK ON DAVID!!!

I didn’t watch iCarly until I heard that David would be on it, but I’ve started watching it when I can, and it’s a really funny show! I like it hehe.
Now, for my fav David songs….I love all of them, because his voice is so magical haha, but if I HAD to choose…I think i’d have to go with Somebody out there, works for me(i had this on repeat for SO long, it’s awesome), Falling (he wrote this when he was 14!!!), and you can. And of course Crush will always hold a special place in my heart, since it was his first single haha. But I really do love them all, it’s an awesome CD.

I absolutely LOVE David’s Cd (which I am listening to as I write this) There are so many that are my favorites. “Desperate” is a really good one I think the sound is so different from any song out there right now; But the songs you listed are my favorites too.

David Archuleta’s CD is fantastic, I usally don’t like every song on an album, but it definitely the exception. All his songs are so unique and with great lyrics and melody it’s hard to pick a favorite, but ones I like most are Waiting for Yesterday, Somebody Out There, You Can, ALTNOY, Don’t Let Go, Desperate , Falling and of coure Works for Me. Did I mention almost all of them? See to hard to choose a fav.

I love David’s CD, it is difficult to choose your favorite because the songs selection were diversed, instead of choosing a favorite I can choose a song depeding on my mood. And I thank David that there were songs for all my moods, lol! I will be biased but it’s the perfect CD and deserves to win a Grammny! woot! woot!

Well I love all of the songs of David’s CD with my heart and soul, lol, but the song that has my heart is ‘Falling’, mostly because of the background story of the song…. in case you didn’t know, David wrote this song all by himself when he was 14 years old, after he found out about a relative of his that had commited suicide in a family meeting…. this event inspired him to write those lyrics, and I believe that it’s haunting and heartbreaking that a 14 year old was able to express himself and try to see through the eyes of the person that was suffering, and as the song says, “kept falling”….
Well I don’t wanna depress you LOL, but yeah, the whole album is amazing, and I just LOVE that he recorded 17 full songs…. he just spoils us too much haha.
Oh and of course, I love iCarly!! Keep on rocking! =D
Well I can’t say because I love every thing that David sings. But someone made a video on youtube for his song falling and I have to tell you that video is so moving and David voice is so awesome. I just can’t get that video out of my head. I sent it over to my space. This song is so moving and to know David wrote it at the age of 14. I be came David’s fan when he was on AL. David is enbeded into my heart and soul forever. Have you ever heard a singer say David Cook’s album is coming out we need to support him? David is to to humble thinking of every one but him self.

My favorite songs on David’s Cd are Works For Me, Somebody Out There, and My Hands. Honestly there isn’t a bad song on the entire Cd but some are definetly getting more play time on my IPOD and in my car than others. You should check out Fans of David site to talk to lots of people that love David’s music and character.
My favorites from the album are “You Can”, “To Be With You”, “Barriers” and “Desperate”. The last two songs would, no doubt, add to David’s fan base, appealing to people who wouldn’t typically listen to his music, considering it strictly pop. These songs are far from “pop” and demonstrate another side of David’s tremendous talent. One of these last two songs should be an immediate single for the reasons stated above.

that was one of the funniest movies i have ever seen and i am japanese american so when they were speaking japanese i could understand them but srry to say this but they werent really good at japanese because by there last name they r chinese or korean. i went to japan before but i never saw that kind of hotel but aw well. i would luv to stay at the hotel u were staying in the movie. but my fav part was when the cheak in lady thought that carly and freddie were on a honeymoon and when the police man had pictures of thing when u were trying to talk to him like i dont speak spanish!

I LOVE Waiting for Yesterday, Works for Me (Walmart bonus track, if you haven’t gotten it you should check it out…It’s awesome), To Be With You (gorgeous), Barriers (Funky…fun), yeah I could sit here and talk about just any of the songs….Running, at first I was like hmmm but the more I heard it the more I am Loving it. I have to say the Waiting for Yesterday is my fav…well today anyway. Thanks for being cool and talking about his CD!

It’s hard to pick favorites, but here are some I really like in no particular order: My Hands (quirky lyrics, great vibe), A Little To Not Over You (should be on the radio), You Can (makes me cry), Angels (a sentimental favorite). David’s album is AMAZING. I like all of the songs A LOT, but I am INLOVE with MY HANDS, BARRIERS, WAITING FOR YESTERDAY, YOU CAN, and WORKS FOR ME.

It was one of the most hilarious movies I’ve ever watched
I love the part when you guys had to try and communicate with the security guard outside the concert hall (is it called a concert hall? Well, the place where iCarly was supposed to perform for the audience) but the security guard didn’t understand English!
And he flipped signs on his little signboard thing saying “I Don’t Speak Spanish” and “Happy Birthday”.
I really LOL-ed when Carly said “You’re so random!”
HAHAHAHA.
Oh and I haven’t listened to David Archuleta’s songs yet; maybe I’ll go buy the CD since everyone’s saying it’s so good!
Btw, is iGo To Japan really filmed in Japan?

I agree with Jess about the bonus songs. They should have all made it to the main album, because everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy them, as they are the best songs. Every song on the cd is amazing, especially the ones that he wrote, and my favorites change daily. You are so funny on the show. I will be watching the episode with David; so, I wanted to check out the show, which I hadn’t seen before. My grandson and I watched, and I found

This is an IMPOSSIBLE question! I LOVE ALL the songs that DAVID sings!!!! BUT, If I had to pick one on his CD it would be probably YOU CAN. It’s such a BEAUTIFUL song! Once you hear it, it’s hard to forget it. It’s soooooo romantic. I just can’t wait to hear him sing it live - when he sing with his BEAUTIFUL voice “YOU CAN” wow that would be the bomb! It would send chills all over!

Eek, sounds like you guys ran into a lot of weather trouble while filming. Ooo, dancing in the hair and makeup room–did they curl your hair while you were busting a move? I think that’d be a great youtube vid. Just a bunch of dancing snippets put together…to a david archuleta song perhaps? And you should get cast and crew to dance too. Say something like, “Show me your best dance move.” I think that’d be a lot of fun to watch (and make).
Change in topic, sorta–what kind of computer do you have? PC or Mac? They both come with super accesible video editing software (Windows Movie Maker and iMovie, if I’m not mistaken). I recommend using one to put together your amazing clips so that you don’t have to have part one, part two, etc. for your youtube videos. I know you’re busy, and I’m grateful that you find time to upload anything at all for your fans, but I thought you might want to try it out one day. It’s really really fun.
I actually love the whole album and i downloaded all on my phone and i need to go out and buy it . my fav songs from the cd are to be with you , I love it when the girl comes in and sings with him and the lyrics are touching and my second fav is barriers because i love the prt when he goes Too many locks (locks), too many cries (cries),
