Hey everyone,
I have a lot to say, so I’ll jump right in! I got back from New York a few days ago and I had an AWESOME time. I’ll take you through the trip, day-by-day. Here it goes:
I arrived at the hotel room at about 7:00pm on Tuesday night. I went skating at Rockefeller Center, because that has been a dream of mine for a few years! The rink was a lot smaller than the rinks I’m used to, so I almost crashed into the boards a few times. But other than that, it was TERRIFIC!
After skating, my mom and I walked to the Olive Garden and ate there…yummy! Then, we headed across the street to the Hershey’s Store, which was super cool! The Hershey’s store actually had the candy dresses made in a challenge on Project Runway on display! How cool is that?!?!
Following the Hershey’s store, we went to the M&M’s store. I was just gonna type “I was running around like a kid in a candy store” but then I realized that’s exactly what I was….a kid in a candy store. lol. Anyways, there was really nothing else opened, so after we got out of the M&M’s store we went back to the hotel.
My mom and I woke up bright and early on Wednesday morning… we had reservations for the American Girl Cafe! I had SO much fun there! My mom got this sandwich with a light gravy-like dipping sauce and I ordered pasta with creamy tomato sauce and a sort of cheese crust on top! Yummmmm.
After eating in the cafe, my mom and I browsed around the store for a while, then we walked down the street to the Friends 2B Made and Build a Bear stores. I made a cute little Build-a-Bear!!! She’s pink with glitter streaks here and there and she’s super cuddly. :0)
Once I made my bear, I went to rehearsal for Upfronts. “Upfronts” are where all sorts of advertisers from various companies gather together at a location and hear a presentation from the people trying to get ads for their shows. Obviously, I was at Nickelodeon’s Upfronts! Miranda and I went out on the big stage and went through the script and movements so we would know what we were doing. It went very smoothly and I was glad to finally know what I was doing, because frankly, I had no clue what upfronts even were until I was in the building for rehearsals!
Immediately after Upfront Rehearsal, I headed over to a photo shoot for a photographer named Anthony Cutajar. Cool songs like “Love Song” and “No Air” were playing in the background, so that helped me to be relaxed!
That night, my mom and I met up with our great friends Alix and Celia and we all went to the Toys R Us in Times Square. I got to ride on the ferris wheel! After Toys R Us, we all went over to Dylan’s Candy Bar, where I ran around and looked at EVERYTHING!!!
I woke up at 6:00am on Thursday morning and headed straight over to Upfronts. I have to admit, I was quite nervous! My right leg was twitching a little bit lol. Anyways, I changed into this yellow, black, and gray tunic/dress with black leggings and high-heeled black shoes that were hard to walk in! I hung out backstage for a little bit, then went out with Miranda and we performed our part of the Upfronts! Once I got out there, my nerves evaporated and I was able to simply have a good time!
I went to the Upfront after-party and got to see Christopher Meloni, from Law and Order:SVU!!! He was there because he’s starring in a new Nickelodeon channel movie called “Gym Teacher” (Nathan Kress from iCarly stars in it as well)! Christopher was super nice and I got to give him a big hug! Yay! I also got to meet Amy Poehler and Natasha Bedingfield….they were both incredibly nice, beautiful, and awesome!!!!!
Once Upfronts were over, I went to an interview with Popstar!magazine. Then, I went another building and did an interview for Seventeen. Following Seventeen, I went out to Bauer Publications in New Jersey and did interviews for AstroGirl, M, J-14, Twist, and several others! All the interviewers were extremely nice!
That night, my mom and I shared a Tasty D-Lite (super yummy ice cream place in NYC!) before going to this restaurant called Mars 2112. We didn’t eat there, but we rode the “Mars ride” and looked around at the huge restaurant! My mom and I also rode the crazily fast elevator in the Marriott hotel and looked around Planet Hollywood before I went to a party for the opening of a store called Caravan. The people running the party were very, very nice!
Friday morning was my day off! Other than a few Nickelodeon International interviews in the morning, I was just able to tour the city with my mommy! We went to Central Park and I skated at the ice rink there. After skating for about 20 minutes, all the kids in the ice rink swarmed around me and I ended up signing autographs for nearly an hour! All the kids were so awesome and nice…I made lots of friends that day!
I also went to F.A.O. Schwartz, the Plaza hotel, a cool shoe store, Rockefeller Center, an adorable little Japanese bakery place, Pax WholeFoods (my mom and I shared a delicious turkey sandwich on olive bread!), Nintendo World (I got some really cool souvenirs for my brothers!), and several other places I can’t remember because we did so many things on that day! I’ll have to post pictures of everything on my website as soon as I get the time!
Well, I think I’ve pretty much taken you through every single detail of my awesome 2nd trip to NYC! I hope you enjoyed hearing about it! Oh, and one last (very important!) thing….I just want to say “hi” and “thank you” to all of the incredible fans I met in NY! So many people came up to me at every imaginable place and every person was so kind and courteous. I met such a wide range of fans, too, which was great to see! From little tiny girls no older than 3 to adults that said they watch the show on a regular basis, it made me beam every time someone would come up and talk to me. So, thanks!

worst when i arrived at my hotel our room stinked and our bed pillows were brown mean while it was sopouse to be white it was descusting soo descusting i had to sleep ontop of the bed and worst my sister got to pick the bed and i HAD to sleep with my sister she would like kick me while shes sleeping and she would wake me up a breth in my face well any ways this is what happened in the morning my mom made me look around the resort and all that then i went to clubmangoose for the whole day/well for 9:00 to five so ya.Then after that i went to have dinner at the resturant and yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa also on the first day i THINK we had a fashion show infront of EVERYONE but while i was in the chn=ange room it seemed scary but once i hit that stage it wasint that scary moving on to the next day.i woke up watched t.v brushed my teeth ate bereackfast and went to clubmongoose then the next day i did the same thing untilllllwednessday then we went htne my moms like how abput we have beach day together soo she chiped me off of clubmongoose oh ya and on monday we went to the dun buggy and all that stuff it smelt like gasseline and it was a bumpy ride but at least i didint get dirt on my pants well not alot acually.Then on tuesday my mom and dad went horse back ridding while i was at club mongoose but ya after that we had a good time and ya my mom wants me off of the computer soo i ahve to go so bye oh ya my days kept contunuing clubmongoose and everything sooo bye <3

Hey Jenette im not going to sit here and flatter you like the others (although i do enjoy your performance on iCarly great job) I know how it feels to be complemented so much and I know how it feels to want to be just a normal kid at my high school i sort of am a celebrity haha i must admit dylans candy bar does kick ass its some really good stuff right? chocolate is my favorite type of candy and i always make an excuse to myself when i eat to much of it that its full of calcium so its ok for me to eat lol I never knew you were on law and order SVU that really is a great show but it must be rough for a child to perform on such a mature and dramatic level suitible for that show well try to email me when u can so we could talk i live near the city so maybe we could meet up sometime probably go to dylans candy bar and rampage haha but so yeah thanks for reading this

Jennette if you do start to direct then use a camera with auto lighting and a lot of zoom with a no shutter feature which is what i believe it is called. a dvd or mini dvd are really great you can, aafter taping, put it in your computerand edit it. they are great. and please e-mail me and i will tell you some really good ideas for iCarly. p.s. my brothers and i really want to hear from you so please e-mail me soon. i love you Jennette!!!!!!

Hi Jennette! I am your biggest fan! I’m glad you had fun in NY. I go to my violin lessons there, but I live in NJ. I don’t really like it in NJ because ppl littter and stuff like that. Those kind of things help global warming to continue, which is not very good. I did a project on global warming in one of my classes in school. We found out that if us humans don’t do something to help stop global warming, it’s possible that we’ll die in about 10 years. So maybe you can help stop it. i cant believe you were just in new york city!!! i was too!!! Last week!!! we left the day natasha bedingfield sang at the rockfeller center. i was really dissapointed that i didnt get to hear herr sing- and that i didnt see u!!! :’( its funny- that was also my 2nd time in new york. i went to FAO and the m&m store and hershey and everything. BIG FAN. it must be cool to have fans.
